TRC GFCI product features: Can provide protection
for 2, 3 or 4 wire circuits; Grounded neutral protection; Open
neutral protection; Lighted and/or mechanical trip indicator; Transient
voltage protection for internal and load circuits; Provides protection
in reversed polarity of input line and neutral. 120V15A - 600V/80A
GFCI's, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters,
provide protection against the hazards of shock and electrocution. GFCI's
are required by both the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA for use
on jobsites for temporary wiring applications.
ELCI's, Equipment Leakage Current Interrupters,
are intended to protect equipment by interrupting the electrical circuit
to load when fault current of 10mA or greater (usually not in excess of
30mA) is detected. An ELCI should not be used when people protection is
required.
